Arcane Atlas is a small USA-based company in Ohio that works with freelance artists to create unique pieces of art that take people to another land altogether. We strive to be an artist-first company when it comes to making deals with the people who help us achieve our dreams. So by supporting us, you are directly supporting the artists we are working with. As we grow, we can offer them more jobs for their talents. We are beginning our journey with playmats and have a dream of expanding what we offer.
We are donating 5% of our gross revenue every quarter to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). In a very digital world, we all know someone who feels alone because of all the devices that "connect" us. With every sale we make, we are hoping that people don't feel alone and possibly go get the help they need because no one should be alone in this world.
Our Story
Arcane Atlas was born out of a simple frustration: the art world was changing fast, and not always for the better. As AI-generated imagery flooded creative spaces, founder Bradlee Castillo wanted to do something tangible — build a brand that puts real artists front and center. Starting with playmats felt natural; they sit at the intersection of art and play, and they deserved better than generic designs. Every piece in our catalog is a collaboration with a freelance artist who poured their craft into it. We're just getting started, but the mission is clear: grow in a way that creates more opportunities for the people who make this possible.
What We Offer
Our flagship product is the premium playmat — a large-format, high-quality mat featuring original art commissioned exclusively from professional freelance artists. Each design is crafted to transport you somewhere else: deep forests, cosmic voids, arcane ruins. Built with a smooth microfiber top surface and a non-slip rubber base, our mats are made for TCG players, tabletop RPG sessions, and anyone who wants their desk to feel like a portal.
Every mat is a limited collaboration with an artist, making each one a collectible in its own right. As Arcane Atlas grows, so will our catalog — think art prints, accessories, and more. Stay tuned.
